COMMENDATIONS
Mr. Nelson Stewart
c/o The Devil’s Brigade Celtic Band April 10, 2024
Dear Nelson,
First let me thank you and your colleagues for participating for the first time ever in our very high profile Dressed to kilt charity fashion show in Toronto on Saturday evening April 6. The Toronto social media space is currently choked with DTK comments and opinions and photos. It seems that our DTK show was a massive success in terms of press & media generation. Your performing at the beginning of the show and your welcoming all the attendees with your music was extremely well received and certainly contributed to the success of the evening! The post-show social media was very flattering towards the Devil’s Brigade. You and your colleagues added a new dimension to our show that we had never before considered. Your live music always gets the audience into the mood for all things Scottish/Celtic. My colleagues and I all agreed that it was a great addition to the evening.
The fact that you and your colleagues have a history of raising funds for Veteran’s organizations made us fast new friends. As you know, we were all committed to raising funds for the Royal Canadian Legion, the largest veteran’s group in Canada. Again, I want to thank you and your colleagues for your contribution to the debut of Dressed to Kilt in Toronto, Canada. The entire evening was a massive success and the contribution of the Devil’s Brigade was significant. Perhaps we should talk again before our 2025 show now planned for New York City. Take care and speak soon.
With kindest regards,
Dr. Geoffrey Scott Carroll
