FORMERLY THE AMERICAN ROGUES

THE DEVIL'S BRIGADE, formally known as the First Special Service Force, was a highly decorated Canadian/American commando unit in WWII. Their legendary heroism struck fear into the hearts of Nazis and their legacy can be traced directly to the Canadian Special Operations Regiment and Green Berets.  The American Rogues have long supported Veterans and by becoming THE DEVIL'S BRIGADE we seek to not only honour those who serve but also reflect our own Canadian/American identity.

ACTOR KEVIN MCKIDD JOINS THE BAND IN NEW YORK CITY

When Scottish actor Kevin McKidd heard the AMERICAN ROGUES would be headlining National Tartan Day in New York City, for which he was the Honorary Chair, he asked to join them on stage.  They performed several AMERICAN ROGUES songs together, as well as Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here", and the band learned "These Are My Mountains", a beautiful song from his album, Speyside Sessions.  Kevin is known for his roles in Trainspotting, Grey's Anatomy, Rome, Dog Soldiers, etc.  He is an absolutely fantastic guy and everybody there had a fantastic night!  MORE VIDEOS HERE: www.kevinmckiddonline.com

AMERICAN ROGUES JOIN THE EMERALD POLICE SOCIETY

The performers and staff of the American Rogues are proud to announce that they have just been asked to become card-carrying members of the Police Emerald Society of Baltimore.  Just as our support of the troops is unwavering, so too do we support those who keep us safe at home, including the police, EMS, and firefighters.  In fact, we're proud that two members of the band, Lyric Todkill and Corey Walden, are firefighters, Joe Heeter (band business manager) was a police officer, Carl Hunt (band advisor) was a police officer, Deak, the man for whom we started DEAKSTOCK many years ago was military police, and Nelson's father, Nelson Stewart, Sr. was a police officer for 35 years.

AIR FORCE SYMPHONY SHOW A GREAT SUCCESS

The AMERICAN ROGUES were honored to once again appear with the Air Force Symphony Orchestra at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.  Over 3000 people were in attendance as we played several favorites, including the full version of the Gael.  Video to follow!  Thanks again to all of our loyal fans for attending.

NEW EP RELEASED!

The AMERICAN ROGUES are pleased to announce the release of our collaboration with the very talented singer/songwriter, Arjay Sharp (www.arjaysharp.com).  Arjay found us and asked if we would contribute some Cetic flavour to his work and when one song became three we had an EP on our hands.  Think "Elton John Meets the Rogues"!  You can hear and purchase the songs at www.reverbnation.com/arjaysharp
