FORMERLY THE AMERICAN ROGUES

THE DEVIL'S BRIGADE, formally known as the First Special Service Force, was a highly decorated Canadian/American commando unit in WWII. Their legendary heroism struck fear into the hearts of Nazis and their legacy can be traced directly to the Canadian Special Operations Regiment and Green Berets.  The American Rogues have long supported Veterans and by becoming THE DEVIL'S BRIGADE we seek to not only honour those who serve but also reflect our own Canadian/American identity.

CELTIC/JAPANESE SHOW SOLD OUT!

We're very pleased to announce that our show at the Harbourfront Centre Theatre in Toronto with world-renowned Japanese group, Nagata Shachu, was a rousing success -- we had a sold out crowd and a standing ovation.  Look for more hybrid shows with them under the name "The Dragon & the Rising Sun".

NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE EVENT

We've just been asked to perform at the Scotiabank Arena, home of the Toronto Maple Leafs, for the unveiling of their 2019 St. Patrick's Day sweaters!

JAPANESE/CELTIC COLLABORATION

We are very delighted to announce that 2019 will see us begin performing with world-renowned Japanese taiko group, Nagata Shachu.  Several members of our band have long been interested in taiko, and some have even studied it, and we've performed in Japan, but this will be the first time we will be fusing Celtic and Japanese culture on stage. Our first show will be on June 8 at the prestigious Harbourfront Centre in Toronto and we're all hoping it will lead to more shows in the future.  Don't miss this one!  TICKETS

WE'RE HEADLINING IN SCOTLAND!

Having seen us perform at the Ohio Scottish Games the directors of the Crieff Highland Gathering asked us to headline their festival. Billed as "Scotland's Premier Highland Games" Crieff is one of the most prestigious events in the world.  The following weekend we've also been asked to perform at the Cowal Highland Gathering, "The Largest Highland Games in the World".  Despite having performed in Japan, Italy, Spain, and many other parts of the world we're very proud to say these are our first shows in Scotland.

LINDSEY STIRLING CONCERT

On April 7 we had the privilege of opening for world-renowned violinist/composer, Lindsey Stirling.  Lindsey has had hundreds of millions of views YouTube, she was named to Forbes' 30 Under 30, and she also tours with Evanescence. We had a fantastic night sharing the stage with such a fantastic performer!

THE SOUNDS OF CANADA WINS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD

We're very proud to announce that the TV show we filmed in Toronto, "The Sounds of Canada" has been awarded "BEST ETHNIC TV PROJECT OF THE YEAR" by the Canadian Ethnic Media Association.  A number of bands from around the world made films and we were selected for the Celtic music episode.  Congratulations to Maxim and all of our friends at the Ethnic Channel Group!  WATCH HERE

NATIONAL RADIO AIRPLAY

KISS 92.5 (one of the largest radio stations in Canada) asked us to record Celtic versions of contemporary music, including songs by Adele, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, and Justin Bieber (Justin Bieber with bagpipes?!?!?  YES!) for St. Paddy's Day.  The lead-ins we recorded were used at radio stations from coast to coast.  We've included Bieber's "Sorry" and a video link to us recording Adele's "Hello":  CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO

NEW VIDEO: SEAL MUSTER 2016

Jason Redman is a retired Navy SEAL and personal friend of mine who was the guest speaker at the 2016 SEAL Muster. His incredible story of courage and survival epitomizes the SEAL motto "The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday", and it has personally inspired me when I needed it most.
